!@#$ the C.I.A.!
The importance of the C.I.A. having the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum's A-12 Blackbird is such that they and the Air Force have decided its worth annoying the entire Minnesota Congressional delegation. Over the strong objections of the delegation, last week the Air Force sent a contractor to Minnesota to disassemble the plane for shipment to Langley so it can be properly planted among the petunias at the new CIA headquarters. Both Senators have co-sponsored legislation to have the plane returned to Minnesota and reassembled. It is unlikely to happen.
Pity the Air Force or the C.I.A. the next time they need something from any of the Minnesota delegation.

Mal,
I have some old planes that you can have, you will need to pay for the transportation though.
The state of Minnesota should send them a bill - at least couple 100 million worth. I hate the government sometimes.
No doubt all of Moussaoui's wrongdoings can be attributed to a tour of the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum. In fact, maybe the CIA should confiscate some of those pesky books inside the Minnesota libraries, too.
I agree with fantastagirl, the CIA should pay Minnesota for the restoration. It's just not right!
You should have replaced it with a Piper Cub when they weren't looking. Our oxymoronically named CIA wouldn't know the difference.
Say ... don't they have any lawyers in Minnesota?
those with authority often shoot themselves in the foot...
I'm pretty sure the Kalamazoo (MI) Air Mueseum has a Blackbird (maybe I shouldn't say this too lou)
Based on the title of your post alone, I think you'll soon be residing in Gitmo.
