2002.2
I started the local cycling season in April with a goal of cranking out 2000 miles before the snow stuck. Today I made it! I realize that for you really serious cyclists, 2000 miles is modest. For me though, it is the most I have ever put on and I really feel the benefit of it. I will be training thru the winter to run with our oldest daughter next May.
I am wondering what I should set for a cycling goal next year?

Congratulations! It must feel great to have achieved your goal. What about riding through winter?
Um, 2000 miles on the motorcycle, right? What a cool mom.
Mal,
I wish you wore dresses more often. Grrr.
Wow. My cycling goal is to not fall over too many times.
And that's on a stationary bike.
Way to go!
Awesome!
I'm impressed, but I think you should ask before you put a picture of me riding my bike on your blog. I'll let it go this time :).
2000 miles on that bike, that's an achievement. But it looks like the miles have added a few wrinkles!
Congratulations (and I love the pic)
You should figure out a way to have a chart on your blog so we can watch it grow as you bike more. My completely uneducated opinion is to shoot for 2500 next year. I just want to see if you can do it. :)
way 2 go...
u look damn hawt on ur bike..hehe
Freewheel- if it stays dry and above 20 F I will ride. Unfortunately, it seldom does
Little Fish- uh, no *L*
Senor Caiman- I always try to look my best *G*
BP- thanks
Notso- you still have me beat running those hills
James- sorry, I thought it was OK
Sage- TY, I loved the pic when I found it too
Jessica-2500 is not unreasonable. I was tracking to do that until I hit some bad weather, road time and pulled muscles in September/October.
Christina-TY *S* BTW, I like the new pic
